On this list you will find the best PC games we are currently playing: recent solo hits, booming spies, and some modern classics that would enhance any game library. We will continue to update this list at the release of new games, removing old favorites and replacing them with our latest obsessions. Rather than an ever longer list that goes back far in the past, we are looking for a concrete answer to the question: "What new PC game should I have?"

Auto Chess style games are the latest fashion, with Valve and Riot quickly releasing their own versions: Dota Underlords at the end of Valve and Teamfight Tactics in the League of Legends launcher. They are both interesting, as is the original Auto Chess mod (a standalone version is on the way). Here is a comparison of the three.

We still love Mordhau's difficult medieval battle. Meanwhile, Apex Legends remains the best new royal battle game, a complete improvement over what was before, and it is now in its second season.

Looking for something a little slower? Observation is a science-fiction thriller from the creators of Stories Untold, in which you play the artificial intelligence of a space station.

We also play Sekiro again. It's a slight change from Souls games, but it's still like playing FromSoftware: a challenge, a mystery and a strange way. Check out Tom's Sekiro's review to find out why we love him.

Amid Evil also got good grades recently. If you plan to use planets as grenades and pin demons on walls with spikes, take a look at it.

Apex Legends is the best royal battle game currently available. The map is fantastic, the communication system 'ping' is what all FPS should have from now on, the weapons and the movements are very funny (no wall, but slide in the hills, it feels good), and it's free, nothing to charge for except cosmetics. This is not the game we expected from Respawn, but we are glad he is here. Check out James's opinion for more.
